Event Training
We are actively involved in many sporting events during the year. If you have never participated in an event before or if you are an experienced athlete, we have something for you! We offer training for events & many of our members - most who have never competed in an event before - train together.
Event's are a great way to meet other members and we always have a support team there to cheer you on. And with each event the feeling you get when you go over the finish line is fantastic!

Winter Series #1, 2 & 3 Gordontown, Cambridge & Matamata - 8th, 15th & 22nd of August
A great time to start cycling in preparation for the summer months. Each race has a shorter route available. More info here.
Waitakere Half Marathon or 10km Fun Run - 10th October
We have a large team participate each year - walk or run the 10km Fun Run set in the heart of West Auckland. There is also a half marathon option available. More info here
Pukekohe Express Cycle Race - 17th October
Three options this year 30km, 50km or 100km so no excuses! A great training ride for those competing in the 160km
Round Lake Taupo ride - or just a great ride in itself. Check out the website here
Kerikeri Half Marathon - 20th November
Another favourite Contours Henderson event with a large contingent of competitors and supporters travelling north for the weekend. More info here
Lake Taupo 160km Cycle Challenge - 27th November
We have a number of teams going down each year to complete the 160km so whether you want to do 160km yourself or 40km or 80km there are options available to you. More info here
And other events such as the Real Womens Duathlon Series, the Mount Maunganui Womens Triathlon & other tri events in Auckland.
